We gave Kirsty such a broad range of genres and tastes for our joint 50th birthday but she managed to make it all fit together in a harmonious whole. Her eclectic choice of music drove even the most difficult guests to the floor and she kept the atmosphere buzzing throughout her set. I would recommend Kirsty, especially if you prefer more interesting and enticing sounds to the same old party songs.

Kirsty was absolutely perfect from start to finish – really chill, easy to work with, super inclusive, and a pro at keeping the dance floor going all night, which was our top priority for our wedding! She was professional and dealt with the venue directly, so all we had to do was have a call with her and send her a list of our top songs. From the very beginning, she was so friendly and we had absolute faith that she was going to smash it! All our guests commented on how excellent and fun the DJ was. We had the best night at our wedding and that was down to Kirsty’s talents!

Kirsty was a breath of fresh air from her review page. We were looking for an informal and flexible DJ that would play ‘our tunes’, and Kirsty put us straight at ease with “one persons’s cheese is another person’s gold” – and really got to know our music tastes.

She was incredibly laid back, accepting random additions to our playlist thought (and was clear that was for a sample, not the entire playlist as she’d curate similar songs and link it all together).

She turned up promptly, got herself setup with no fuss, and managed to keep the dancefloor full throughout the entire evening. I loved her choices, she worked magic. Wonderful DJ, would recommend.

We found Kirsty to be very professional and would highly recommend. Kirsty took the time to call us in advance and really discuss both the music choices but also the wider event plans including, working around the speeches. She contacted the venue manager and the saxophone player we had also organised directly, which was super helpful in terms of taking some of the organisation off our hands. Kirsty even recommended an improvement to the venue floor layout to ensure guests would be encouraged to hit the dance floor – which they did.
At all times Kirsty documented what we’d discussed and arranged.
Finally the music was banging. Kirsty offered a broad selection of music and tailored her playlist to exactly the music we wanted. She even went to the trouble of finding the perfect version of our entrance music.

Kirsty was an excellent addition to our wedding day. She was super friendly and professional leading up to the event, and gave us an opportunity to dive into what music we’d like, as well as other finer details such as first dance, and closing tracks. On the day, Kirsty’s setup was seamless and prompt; and her DJ set was entirely in line with what we outlined in a previous chat. She adapted the music expertly according to who was on the dance floor. She was super friendly to all of our guests, and even reacted very calmly and professionally when a guest accidentally pulled the plug on her kit! Kirsty was a dream and seriously helped make our day one to remember. She did all the leg work with speaking to our venue and taking that off our plates, we really had to do nothing other than send her a list of songs we liked and she took the rest from there!
Despite it being one of the hottest days of the year (or feeling like it was) she didn’t let this phase her and still pumped-up people when they came in for a dance.

We rebooked Kirsty for our work Christmas Party after how popular she was at our Summer Party – and we are so glad we did. Kirsty did a fantastic job yet again, starting with some slow songs as people mingled at the beginning of the night and ramping it up when people were ready to dance. She organised us to do a dance as a group and it was so much fun – really bringing people into the party mood. We had Kirsty DJ our wedding reception in an open-air park and she delivered everything we asked for to make for a perfect party. Kirsty made herself available for multiple calls/emails during the planning phase as we were balancing a shifting timeline as well as a transition from a band performance to hers. Throughout the planning, she made her flexibility clear which provided peace of mind for us. We also challenged her with quite an eclectic playlist to which she blended it together with perfection and the bride didn’t leave the dance floor all night! I hired Kirsty for two of my daughter’s birthday parties. Her 11th and more recently her 13th. Kirsty was absolutely fantastic for both! She took special consideration for each age group, including music choices, games and interacting with the kids to get them all on the dancefloor! She took into account the kind of music my daughter and her friends liked and read the crowd perfectly for what was being received well! DJ’ing at a 13th birthday party is no mean feat but she did an absolutely fantastic job! She has a fun and bubbly energy that really rubbed off on the kids! Even the cool kids were up dancing! She made it fun by introducing ‘dance offs’ and other games that the kids loved! I got some great feedback from parents of the kids afterwards who are now making enquiries for their own children’s parties.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and book Kirsty in the future!

We booked Kirsty via a recommendation, and we were unaware of her talents and wow we are so glad we did. Quite frankly we were blown away from beginning to end and that’s not just during the hours she was DJing. The care and effort she provided over our wedding has been exemplary. She had fantastic communication from point of booking and made every effort to ensure that the music played catered exactly to our requirements. Even going as far as suggesting bands we’d never heard of that fit perfectly with what our guests would enjoy. With her own PA and disco lights there wasn’t a moment the dance floor wasn’t filled. Kirsty did a tip top job! 11 out of 10 – would hire again.

Kirsty was recommended by our Christmas party venue and more than lived up to the hype. From an organisational perspective she made it as easy as possible, happy to talk through the event on the phone beforehand, arriving on time and with everything she could possibly need. She knew the venue and its foibles well, which meant I didn’t have to worry about any of it. Armed with possibly the most obscure list of song requests I’ve seen from colleagues, with tastes ranging from Rihanna to FloRida to S Club 7 via an assortment of indie, rock and pop tunes, she kept the dance floor filled and moving. Along with the random requests, she also found time for some cool alternative versions of dance floor classics (Baby Charles are now on my playlist!), all the while reading the crowd and the dance floor brilliantly. I had a brilliantly stress-free evening, spending most of the night on the dance floor, plus I’ve had loads of positive feedback from colleagues who had an amazing evening. I would very happily book Kirsty again, whether for a work-based or private event. Thanks Kirsty!

Thank you, Kirsty, for being a dream to deal with leading up to my party and then an absolute star on the day. So much thought was put into the songs you sang and it was such a lovely touch to have researched and chosen some to match the era that I was born in too.
It was a perfect set up with your lovely voice, the sun setting and the fields surrounding. As we moved into the evening, your DJ set was just perfect. Not being a fan of many typical party style tracks, and letting you know this, you gauged it just right and it was ace! Kirsty was playing at Arkadin’s annual summer party and even though it was a wide mix of people and ages, everyone was super happy about the music choices. She definitely could tell by the dancing audience what they wanted to hear, and she kept on delivering! A lot of things were a great success with our party, but on the Monday afterwards it was mainly how good the DJ was that was the topic of discussed in the lunch room. It can be tricky providing music for a party full of people aged from 16 – 81. We booked Kirsty to do just that at our daughter Oonagh’s 21st party – so we had a big bunch of 20/21 year olds, older siblings with their friends and our friends in their 50’s plus my 81-year Mum, who is still quite a go-er on the dance-floor. We are all passionate about our music, gave Kirsty a list and were blown away by her incredibly skilful mixing of our music, her music, different versions of familiar songs – it was FABULOUS. There was non-stop action on the dance-floor from 10-1am and it was utterly joyous. My 3 brothers and I have always loved dancing and our 3 children have inherited that passion. It was just brilliant for us all to have such a thoughtfully put together set on the night – can’t thank you enough Kirsty, it made my day!!

Kirsty totally rocked our Christmas Party; her energy was awesome & her tunes were wicked. She really knows how to play to her audience & she had us on the dance floor all night.
We sent her a huge playlist of requests before the event including: Christmas classics, rock, cheese, dance, R & B, old skool garage and Dum n Bass, & she pretty much covered it all! Kirsty is a properly talented DJ and we already plan to book her again.
